Welcome to the 1st WWE Smackdown! Edition of The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. WWE, of course, is the #1 wrestling promotion on the planet. This is it’s 2nd show: Friday Night Smackdown. It is the 3rd highest weekly episodic TV series ever: only WWE Raw & Gunsmoke have more episodes. In case you missed this past Friday’s episode. The show is in it’s 1st year on Syfy so WWE will push the envelope to produce a great show. Occasionally, it will have better matches than Monday Night Raw. In case you missed it, catch it right here, right now on thefiveknuckleshuffle.com courtesy of WWEfannation on YouTube.

Welcome to the 1st TNA iMPACT! Edition of The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. TNA is the #2 wrestling promotion. Tazz & Mike Tenay are commentators. There are a lot of WWE & ECW alumni wrestling here. Their TV tapings are rated TV-14 giving them more freedom on the language and the level of violence. Which means you’re gonna see a lot of great action. They have to push the envelope because they are #2. Okay, here we go…

Welcome to the 1st edition of the Good, the Bad, & the Ugly. Here you will get personal reactions on your favorite wrestling shows, pay-per-views, etc. All according to me. Let’s start with the April 16 episode of Monday Night Raw.
THE GOOD – JOHN MORRISON TAKES R-TRUTH’S #1 CONTENDER SPOT AT EXTREME RULES
John Morrison is a pretty good wrestler; a good high-flyer who uses his parkour skills in the ring. At the beginning of the show, he came out to confront R-Truth who was in his glory after a draw w/ John Cena in the gauntlet match for the #1 contender to the WWE Championship. He used his old Dirt Sheet skills to expose R-Truth’s drinking water between each gauntlet match last week & that he smokes cigarettes. The Prince of Parkour challenged Truth & as you saw in the video above, a Starship Pain later, he scored the pinfall and is now R-Truth’s replacement. This is well-deserved for Morrison who really’s had the Miz’s number in their last few matches. For more on the Sultan of Sexy, check out my DVD Review of John Morrison: Rock Star. (more…)

If you watched wrestling in the 80’s and loved high flyers, one of the names that stood out was none other than Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat. What you just saw was his son Richie Steamboat. Amazing! Just look at the wrestling moves. It’s a good combination of how his dad wrestled and today’s popular wrestling moves. (more…)
